Before you start
- A Fire OS device. Check SettingsMy Fire TVAbout. Vega OS devices can’t install TiviMate. See Vega OS explained.
- The Downloader app, from the Amazon Appstore. See the Downloader guide.
- Your login: an Xtream Codes login, an M3U link or a Stalker portal.
Install TiviMate
- Allow Downloader to install apps: SettingsMy Fire TVDeveloper optionsInstall unknown apps, then switch on Downloader. If Developer options is hidden, see how to show it.
- Open Downloader and enter 272483, the code published on tivimate.com, or the address tivimate.com/apk.
- When the download finishes, choose Install, then Done.
- Choose Delete when Downloader offers to remove the installation file.
- Find TiviMate under Your Apps & Games and move it to your home screen if you like.
TiviMate’s site describes this direct version as having fewer restrictions and checking for updates itself.
Add your playlist
Open TiviMate and choose to add a playlist. Pick Xtream Codes, M3U or Stalker portal, enter your details, and let it load the channels and guide. Add a playlist to TiviMate shows every field.
Unlock Premium on Fire TV
Premium unlocks more of TiviMate’s features. On devices with Google Play it’s bought in the app; Fire TV has no Google Play, so TiviMate provides two other routes:
- TiviMate Companion, an app for Android phones that TiviMate describes as a way to unlock Premium on devices without Google Play and to manage your activated devices. See the TiviMate Companion app.
- A TiviMate account on tivimate.com, which has sign-up and log-in pages.

Best settings on Fire TV
- Turn on Match original frame rate in SettingsDisplay & SoundsDisplay for smooth 25 and 50 fps channels.
