What Premium unlocks
TiviMate’s Google Play listing describes the app’s features as: support for M3U, Xtream Codes and Stalker Portal playlists; a grid TV guide; multiple playlists; favourite channels; catch-up; recording; search; parental controls; and multiview. Premium unlocks the paid part of that list. TiviMate doesn’t publish the exact free and Premium split on its website, so open Premium in the app’s settings to see what your version includes before you pay.
What Premium doesn’t do:
- It doesn’t include channels. In TiviMate’s own words, any paid upgrade “unlocks application features only”.
- It doesn’t fix a poor stream. Buffering and missing channels come from your provider or connection.
Three ways to buy it
| Your device | How to get Premium |
|---|---|
| Android TV or Google TV with Google Play | In the app, paid through Google Play |
| Fire TV or another device without Google Play | The TiviMate Companion app on an Android phone, which TiviMate describes as the way to unlock Premium on devices without Google Play |
| Any device | A TiviMate account on tivimate.com, which has sign-up and log-in pages |
The Companion app also lets you manage which devices are activated. See the TiviMate Companion app, and for a new TV or stick, move your IPTV login to a new device.
Buy it safely
- Buy only through TiviMate’s own routes: Google Play, the Companion app or tivimate.com.
- Avoid sites selling cheap “Premium keys” or modified apps. They can stop working at any time and are a malware risk.
- Check the current price and device allowance on the Premium screen before paying.
Is it worth it?
If you watch live TV most of the time and like a proper grid guide, TiviMate with Premium is one of the most capable players on Android TV and Fire TV. If you mostly watch films and series, or you use Apple devices too, compare the alternatives first: see TiviMate vs IPTV Smarters and TiviMate vs iMPlayer.
