Why it’s Android only
TiviMate is an Android app built for TV remotes. Samsung’s Tizen, LG’s webOS, Roku OS and Apple’s tvOS each run only their own kind of app, from their own store, so an Android app can’t be installed on them. That’s a limit of the platforms, not something a setting can change. For Samsung in detail, see can you install APKs on a Samsung TV?
The simplest way to get TiviMate on any TV
Plug a streaming device into a spare HDMI port:
- A Google TV device, such as the Google TV Streamer: TiviMate installs from Google Play. See install TiviMate on Google TV.
- A Fire OS Fire TV Stick, such as the 4K Max: TiviMate installs from the developer’s download. See install TiviMate on a Fire TV Stick.

Watch out for look-alike names
Searches for “TiviMate for Apple TV” or “TiviMate for Samsung” turn up apps and download sites with similar names. On Apple’s App Store, for example, TiviMato Player Pro is published by HFR TECH LLC, not by TiviMate’s developer. The real TiviMate comes from Armobsoft FZE. Downloads offering TiviMate for Samsung, LG or Windows aren’t from its developer, and a modified app is a common way malware reaches devices.
