Terms of service

These terms apply to every free trial and paid plan. Please read them before you order. They don’t affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Updated

1. About these terms

These terms form the agreement between you and IPTV Subscription 8K (“we”, “us”, “our”) for the use of our IPTV service, including free trials. By requesting a trial or placing an order, you agree to them. They apply together with our acceptable use policy, refunds and cancellation policy, privacy policy and cookie policy.

You can contact us at support@8ktvsubscription.com or through the details on our contact page.

2. The service

We provide access to an internet-based television service for the period you purchase. It includes live channels, a programme guide where channels provide one, catch-up on supported channels and an on-demand library, delivered to player apps and devices that you choose and control.

  • Channel line-ups change. Channels may be added, changed or withdrawn over time. We don’t promise that any particular channel or programme will remain available for the whole of your plan.
  • Picture quality depends on the source of each channel, your device and your internet connection.
  • Player apps are provided by third parties. We don’t make or control them, and their availability, features and any fees are set by their developers.

3. Your device and internet connection

You’re responsible for providing a compatible device and a suitable internet connection. Our supported devices and internet speed guides explain what’s needed. We can’t be responsible for problems caused by your equipment, your network or your broadband provider, but we will always try to help you resolve them.

4. Free trials

  • One free trial per household.
  • A trial lasts the period stated when it’s issued, currently 24 hours, and ends automatically. Nothing is charged.
  • We may decline or end a trial where we reasonably believe the trial terms are being abused.

5. Orders and payment

  • Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) on our pricing page and are the full price for the plan length shown.
  • When you send an order, we confirm it and the payment options available to you. The contract between us is formed when we confirm your order and receive payment.
  • Before starting the service, we ask you to confirm that you want it to begin immediately. Our refunds and cancellation policy explains how this affects your right to cancel.

6. Plan length and renewal

Each plan runs for the period you purchased and then ends. Plans don’t renew automatically, and we don’t store payment details for future charges. To continue, place a new order. We’ll remind you before your plan ends.

7. Connections and your login

  • Each plan includes the number of simultaneous connections stated when you order (one unless you add more).
  • You may install the service on as many of your own devices as you like, but only that number of streams may play at the same time.
  • Your login is for the members of one household only. You must not share, sell or publish it. Keep it confidential and tell us promptly if you think someone else has it.

8. Acceptable use

You must use the service lawfully and in line with our acceptable use policy. In particular, the service is for private, domestic viewing only. It must not be shown in public or commercial premises, re-streamed, recorded for distribution or resold.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service, but we can’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance, and occasionally the service or particular channels may be unavailable for reasons outside our control. We post notices of significant problems on our service status page.

We may change the service, for example to improve it, to reflect changes in the law or in the content we’re able to provide. If a change significantly reduces what you receive during a paid plan, you may end your plan and receive a refund for the unused period.

10. Suspension and ending the service

We may suspend or end your access, with notice where reasonable, if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, for example by sharing your login or using the service in commercial premises. If we end your plan for reasons that aren’t your fault, we’ll refund the unused period.

11. Our responsibility to you

  • If we fail to comply with these terms, we’re responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
  • We’re not responsible for loss or damage that isn’t foreseeable, or for business losses: the service is for domestic and private use.
  • Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

12. Complaints

If you’re unhappy with any part of the service, contact us at support@8ktvsubscription.com with your order details. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and to resolve them as quickly as possible.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your plan is the one in force when you placed your order. We’ll tell you about significant changes before they affect an existing plan.

14. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts of your home country.
