Which Hisense do you have?
| System | How to recognise it | IPTV options |
|---|---|---|
| VIDAA | VIDAA home screen and app store | Players from the VIDAA store, such as SmartOne and Net IPTV. See IPTV apps for VIDAA. |
| Google TV | Google’s home screen, Google Play | The full range of Google Play players. See IPTV on Google TV. |
| Fire TV built in | Amazon’s home screen | As on a Fire TV device. See IPTV on Fire TV smart TVs. |
If you’re not sure, check the TV’s settings under About or System information.
Setting up IPTV on a VIDAA Hisense
- Open the VIDAA app store and search for an IPTV player, such as SmartOne IPTV or Net IPTV.
- Check the developer name and install it.
- Open the app and note the MAC address or device key it shows.
- Add your login or playlist on the developer’s website, or in the app.
- Load the TV guide, and set the TV’s clock and time zone correctly.
The developers’ support for VIDAA is listed in the sources at the end of this page. Availability varies by model and region; if a player isn’t in your TV’s store, it isn’t available for that model.
When a stick is the better choice
VIDAA’s store has far fewer IPTV players than Google Play, and Android apps such as TiviMate can’t be installed on it. If none of the VIDAA players suits your login or you want more features, plug a Fire TV Stick or Google TV Streamer into a spare HDMI port.
Hisense tips
- Guide times wrong? Set the TV’s clock to automatic with the correct time zone before changing any guide offset.
- Buffering? Hisense TVs have Ethernet ports on most models; a cable is the steadiest connection. See Wi-Fi vs Ethernet.
