SmartOne IPTV is a cross-platform player aimed at Smart TVs. It runs on Samsung (Tizen), LG (webOS), and several other Smart TV systems, as well as Android TV and Fire OS. Compared with simpler Smart TV players, it adds full Xtream Codes support, so your live TV, programme guide, films and series all load from one login.
Like every legitimate player, it has no channels of its own. It plays the subscription you add.
Where SmartOne IPTV runs
- Samsung Smart TVs: from the Samsung app store where available. See our Samsung TV guide.
- LG Smart TVs: from the LG Content Store. See our LG TV guide.
- Other Smart TVs, such as those running Vidaa (Hisense) and some Vestel-based models, depending on the store.
- Android TV and Fire OS devices, following the developer’s installation instructions.
Store listings vary by model and country and can change, so search your TV’s store to confirm.
Cost
SmartOne offers a free trial, after which each device needs a one-time activation, paid to the developer through its website. The activation is tied to the device’s MAC address. The fee goes to the app developer, not to us, and prices can change, so check before paying.
How to set up SmartOne IPTV
Install SmartOne and note your codes
Install SmartOne IPTV from your TV’s app store and open it. Its first screen shows the MAC address and a device key. Photograph the screen so you have both exactly.
Open the SmartOne portal
On your phone or computer, go to the official SmartOne IPTV website and open its playlist or device management page. Enter your MAC address and device key to access your device.
Add your login
Choose to add a playlist. For the best experience, choose Xtream Codes and enter the server address (including http:// and the port), username and password exactly as in our welcome message. Alternatively, paste your M3U link. Give the playlist a name and save it.
Refresh the app on the TV
Return to the TV and restart SmartOne, or use its refresh option. Your playlist appears. Select it to load live TV, the guide, films and series.
Set up favourites and parental lock
In the channel list, add favourites with the remote’s option button. In SmartOne’s settings, set a parental PIN to lock categories if children use the TV.
Using SmartOne day to day
- Live TV opens with a channel list and programme information; the guide view shows what’s on across channels.
- Films and series appear in their own sections when you use an Xtream Codes login, organised by category.
- Several playlists can be added to one device, which is useful if you also have other services.
- Changes are made on the portal. If we send you updated details, update the playlist on the SmartOne website and refresh the app.
SmartOne troubleshooting
The playlist doesn’t appear on the TV
Check the MAC address and device key on the portal exactly match the TV screen, then fully restart the app. On TVs with a quick-start feature (such as LG’s Quick Start+), switch the TV off at the wall for a minute to clear the app from memory.
“Login failed” or no channels
The server address must include http:// and the port. Copy and paste the username and password to avoid typos. If your trial has ended, message us to check your account.
Guide missing for some channels
Refresh the playlist, and check the TV’s time zone. Some channels don’t provide guide data at all. See TV guide (EPG) problems.
Stuttering on an older TV
Older Smart TV processors struggle with large playlists. Hide categories you don’t use, or plug in a Fire TV Stick for a faster experience.
Try SmartOne with a free trial
Request a trial login and add it on the SmartOne portal in a couple of minutes.
