Installing a player on an LG TV
- Press Home and open the LG Content Store (called Apps on newer models).
- Search for the player, check the developer name and install it.
- Open the app and note its MAC address or device ID.
- Add your playlist in the app or on the developer’s website. IPTV MAC addresses explains which ID to use.
Choosing by login type
- Xtream Codes login: SmartOne accepts it directly. For playlist-upload players, build an M3U link from it; see Xtream Codes to M3U.
- M3U link: every player here accepts it.
When a stick is the better route
If none of these support your webOS version, or you want a richer guide and features such as recording, plug in a Fire TV Stick or a Google TV device. For LG-specific problems, see IPTV not working on LG TV.
