TiviMate

Add your playlist to TiviMate

TiviMate accepts the three common IPTV logins: Xtream Codes, M3U playlists and Stalker portals. Adding one takes a couple of minutes, and the choice you make affects how quickly the app loads and whether the TV guide appears on its own. Here’s the process for each.

Before you start

Have your login to hand, preferably on a phone, so you can check each character. TiviMate’s playlist setup asks for one of these:

You receivedChoose in TiviMate
Server address, username and passwordXtream Codes
One long linkM3U playlist (enter the URL)
A portal address, with your device’s MAC registeredStalker portal

Add an Xtream Codes login

  1. Open TiviMate. On first start it offers to add a playlist; later, find it under the playlists section of Settings.
  2. Choose Xtream Codes.
  3. Enter the server address exactly as sent, including http:// and the port, such as :8080.
  4. Enter the username and password, keeping capital letters as they are.
  5. Continue, give the playlist a name, and finish. TiviMate loads the channels and then processes the TV guide.

Add an M3U playlist

  1. Choose M3U playlist and enter the link (or choose a file).
  2. Continue, name the playlist and finish.
  3. Add the TV guide address if the channels load without listings. See TiviMate EPG.

Typing long links with a remote is error-prone. Copy the link from a phone where you can, or use TiviMate’s remote setup options if your version offers them.

Add a Stalker portal

  1. Give your provider the MAC address TiviMate shows for portal setup, and wait for confirmation.
  2. Choose Stalker portal and enter the portal address exactly as sent.
  3. Continue and let the portal load.

Stalker portals explained covers how MAC logins work.

Tidy up after loading

  • Hide groups you don’t watch, and mark favourites. See customise TiviMate.
  • Set the guide to update daily in the EPG settings.
  • Choose the stream format if channels are slow to start or buffer. See HLS vs MPEG-TS.

If the playlist won’t load, the message usually includes a code; see TiviMate error codes.

FAQ

Playlist questions

Should I add Xtream Codes or M3U to TiviMate?

Xtream Codes where you have it: the guide usually loads with it, and films and series are organised better. Use M3U when that’s all you have, and add the guide address separately.

Can TiviMate use more than one playlist?

Yes. Its Google Play listing lists multiple playlists as a feature. You can switch between them or keep them combined, depending on your version and settings.

Why does TiviMate say my playlist can’t be loaded?

Usually a typo in the server address or link, a missing port number, or an account problem. The error often includes a code such as 401, 403 or 404 that points to the cause.
