Quick checks that fix most problems

  1. Restart properly: close Smarters completely, restart the device and the router.
  2. Test the login in another app or on another device. If it fails everywhere, the problem is the login, the account or the server.
  3. Test on mobile data to rule out your home network.
  4. Switch off any VPN.
  5. Update the app from the developer, or on Apple devices, update Smarters Player Lite from the App Store.

Make sure it’s the real app

Look-alike apps with similar names may not work properly, or may stop working without warning. On Apple devices, the genuine app is Smarters Player Lite from WHMCS Smarters; on Android and Fire TV, download only from the developer’s own website. See the IPTV Smarters Pro guide.

FAQ

Smarters problem questions

Why does Smarters say no internet connection when my Wi-Fi works?

The app can’t reach the server, even though your device is online. Common causes are the server address, a DNS or blocking problem on your broadband, a VPN, or an old device that can’t make secure connections. Test on mobile data first.

What does “authorization failed” mean in Smarters?

The server rejected the login: a typing mistake, the wrong server address or port, or an account that has expired or is limited. Recheck every field.

Is IPTV Smarters down?

Smarters is a player, so it has nothing to be down. If nothing loads, the provider’s server, your login or your connection is the cause.
