What we could verify
- Samsung TVs run Tizen, and install apps only from Samsung’s own store. Android versions of Smarters can’t be installed on them.
- The Smarters developer’s own app on Apple platforms is Smarters Player Lite, which we verified on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac.
- We couldn’t confirm an official Smarters app for Samsung Tizen from the developer in September 2026. The developer’s website was unreachable from our checks, and TV app stores can’t be browsed from outside the TV.
If your TV’s store shows an app with Smarters in its name, check the publisher and reviews before installing or paying. Look-alike players are common on every platform.
Options that definitely work
| Option | What you need | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| A Samsung TV player | A player from Samsung’s store that accepts your login | The best IPTV apps for Samsung TVs |
| Smarters on a plug-in device | A Fire OS Fire TV Stick or Android TV box in a spare HDMI port | Smarters on Fire TV |
| AirPlay from an iPhone | Smarters Player Lite on iPhone and an AirPlay-compatible Samsung TV | AirPlay IPTV from iPhone |
Using your Smarters login in a Samsung player
Your login belongs to your provider, not to Smarters, so it works in any player that accepts the same type:
- Xtream Codes login: use a Samsung player that accepts Xtream Codes, such as SmartOne. Or build an M3U link; see Xtream Codes to M3U.
- M3U link: most Samsung players accept it, often through a web page where you enter your TV’s MAC address.
See IPTV on a Samsung Smart TV for the full setup.
