Three options that work
| Option | How it works | Trade-offs |
|---|---|---|
| Plug in a stick | Add a Fire OS Fire TV Stick or Google TV device to a spare HDMI port and install Smarters or another player | Costs a little; gives the best experience |
| A Roku M3U player | Use a third-party M3U player from the Roku Channel Store with your playlist link | Basic players; limited guides; listings change |
| Mirror from a phone or PC | Play on a phone or computer and mirror the screen to the Roku | Convenient for occasional viewing; quality and battery vary |
Using your login in a Roku M3U player
Roku M3U players need a playlist link. If your provider gave you an Xtream Codes login, build the M3U link from it; see Xtream Codes to M3U. Then add the channel from the Roku Channel Store and enter the link. M3U players on Roku explains what to expect.
Mirroring
Many Android phones and Windows PCs can mirror to a Roku. Start the channel in the player on your phone, then mirror the screen. See cast or mirror IPTV to a Roku.
The simplest long-term fix
A stick costs less than most TV accessories, and you keep Roku for everything else. Roku vs Firestick for IPTV explains why the stick is the better IPTV device.
