Check the three login fields
Most IPTV logins have three parts, and each one can fail in its own way. Our Xtream Codes login guide has examples for the popular apps.
Server address
- It must include
http://orhttps://at the start. Use exactly what your provider sent. - It usually ends with a port number such as
:8080or:80. Leaving the port off is the most common reason a correct username and password fail. - It should stop there. Anything after the port, such as
/get.php?…, belongs to an M3U link, not the server field.
Username and password
- They’re case-sensitive. TV keyboards often capitalise the first letter automatically; check it.
- Look for spaces at the start or end, especially if you pasted the details.
- Watch for characters that look alike:
0andO,1,landI.
Typing long details on a TV
Typing on a remote is where most mistakes happen. Where you can, type or paste the details on a phone. Many apps offer a web page or QR code for this, and the phone app for your streaming device can act as a keyboard.
Check the account
If the details are definitely correct, the account may be the reason:
- Expired. Some apps show “authorization failed” rather than “expired”. Check the expiry date in the app’s account screen if it shows one. See account expired.
- Used on too many devices at once. Accounts allow a set number of simultaneous connections. See too many connections.
- Locked to a location or IP address. Some accounts are refused when used from a new network or through a VPN. Switch the VPN off and try again.
- Changed by the provider. Servers and passwords sometimes change. Check you’re using the latest details.
Still failing?
Try the same details in a second app. If they fail everywhere, contact your provider with the exact message, the app you used and when it started. If they work in the second app, the first app has stored an old version of your login: remove the profile and add it again.
