Check these in order
Power: the original adapter, in the wall
Use the cable and adapter from the box, plugged into a wall socket, not the TV’s USB port or a phone charger. If you’ve lost them, Amazon recommends Amazon-branded replacements. Try a different socket and avoid extension leads with lots of other devices on them.
Heat
Move the stick away from the back of the TV with the HDMI extender, and keep it away from heaters and closed cabinets. See Firestick overheating.
HDMI
Plug the stick directly into the TV, not an HDMI hub or switch, and try another HDMI port. Turning HDMI-CEC Device Control off in SettingsDisplay & Sounds can stop other devices waking or switching the TV and stick unexpectedly.
Software
Check for a system update under SettingsMy Fire TVAbout. An update needs at least 500 MB of free space; if storage is nearly full, free some first. See update a Firestick.
One app, or everything?
If restarts only happen in one app, clear that app’s cache and data, or reinstall it. See clear cache and delete apps.
Factory reset, last
If none of that helps, a factory reset rules out corrupted software. It erases your account and apps. See restart and reset a Firestick.
If it still reboots with the original adapter, in a cool spot and plugged straight into the TV, the stick itself may be failing.
