What Vega OS means for IPTV
- No installs from outside the Appstore. Downloader and developer download links don’t apply. Most popular IPTV players, including TiviMate, aren’t available to it.
- Appstore players only. If a player in the Appstore supports your login (M3U or Xtream Codes) on Vega OS, you can use that.
- Less memory. 1 GB is half what the Fire OS 4K sticks have, which matters with big channel lists and TV guides.
Confirm what your stick runs under SettingsMy Fire TVAbout: a Vega OS version (for example “OS 1.1”) means Vega OS. See Vega OS explained.
If you already have one
- Search the Appstore for an IPTV player that accepts your login type, and check the developer before installing.
- Use your TV’s own apps if it’s a Samsung or LG: see Samsung TV and LG TV.
- Keep it for streaming apps and use a Fire OS stick or an Android TV device for IPTV.
