The playlist is missing or empty
- Check the MAC address. Compare the MAC the app shows now with the one used on the playlist website. TVs have separate Wi-Fi and Ethernet MACs, and IBO Player’s FAQ says the other one becomes active when you switch connection type and restart the app.
- Restart the app completely after changing playlists on the website.
- Check the licence. After the 7-day trial, a licence is needed; see IBO Player activation.
Network error or “can’t load playlist”
- Test the playlist link in a web browser. If it fails there, the link or account is the problem; see playlist not working.
- Restart the router and the TV.
- Switch off any VPN and try again.
- Try the same playlist on the same network with another device. IBO Player’s FAQ notes that a block by your internet provider can make a playlist work on one network and not another.
Playback error or black screen
- Try another channel. If only some fail, those streams are the problem.
- Try an HD version of 4K channels; the device may not decode HEVC. IBO Player’s FAQ points out that not every Smart TV supports every stream format.
- Change the stream format in the playlist link (for example
output=tsoroutput=m3u8). See HLS vs MPEG-TS.

Buffering
Use a wired connection where you can, and see how to stop IPTV buffering.
Still stuck
IBO Player doesn’t provide channels, so it can’t fix a provider’s stream. If channels fail in every app on every device, contact your provider. For app-specific problems, use the support contact on iboplayer.com.
