What the store listings show
From the UK Apple App Store and Google Play, September 2026:
| App name | Store | Seller or developer | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| IBO PLAYER | Apple App Store | ibrahim akoum | iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV |
| Ibo Player Pro | Apple App Store | ibrahim akoum | Same seller as IBO PLAYER |
| ibo Pro Player | Apple App Store | IRBOETECH CO. LTD | Different seller |
| Ib Player | Apple App Store and Google Play | IRBOETECH CO. LTD (Apple); Bright Horizon Mission LLC (Google Play) | Different sellers |
| IBO Player Pro VPRO | Google Play | HADARI QALB | Different developer |
| Ibo Pro Player | Google Play | Sunshine Ter LLC | Different developer |
| Ibo Player Smarter | Google Play | IBOSMDEV | Different developer |
IBO Player’s own website offers its Android app as a direct download rather than pointing to a Google Play listing. We haven’t verified any of the Google Play “IBO” listings above as the official app.
How to check before paying
- Start from the official website, iboplayer.com, and use the download or store links it gives.
- Check the seller name on the store page against what the developer’s site says.
- Activate only on the developer’s own site. A licence for one app won’t work in a different developer’s app.
- Ask your provider which app they tested their service with, if they recommend one.
The IBO “family”
IBO Player’s website also lists partner apps, among them BobPlayer, Family 4K Player, Virginia Player, KingIPTV and Duplex. They’re related players rather than copies. IBO-family players explained covers what that means.
