IBO Player

Add your playlist to IBO Player

IBO Player loads your playlist from its own website rather than asking you to type it on the TV. You sign in to the playlist manager with the MAC address and device key from the app, add your playlist, and restart the app. The website also lets you protect the playlist with a PIN.

Step 1: sign in to the playlist manager

  1. Open IBO Player on the TV and note the MAC address and device key.
  2. On a phone or computer, go to iboplayer.com and choose Manage playlists.
  3. Sign in with the MAC address and device key.

Step 2: add the playlist

  1. Choose to add a playlist.
  2. Give it a name you’ll recognise, such as your provider’s name.
  3. Paste your M3U playlist link. If you only have an Xtream Codes login, build the link first with Xtream Codes to M3U or our link builder tool.
  4. If the form offers a PIN or protection option, set one, so nobody who knows your MAC address can change your playlists.
  5. Save.

Step 3: load it on the TV

Close IBO Player completely and open it again. Choose your playlist and let the channels and guide load.

Keeping it secure

The MAC address alone shouldn’t be enough to change your playlists; that’s what the device key and any playlist PIN are for. Don’t share screenshots showing your device key or playlist links.

If it doesn’t load

  • Nothing appears: confirm the MAC address on the website matches the app; Wi-Fi and Ethernet MACs differ.
  • “Playlist can’t be loaded”: test the link in a browser; see playlist not working.
  • Channels load but won’t play: see IBO Player not working.

FAQ

IBO playlist questions

Can I add an Xtream Codes login to IBO Player?

IBO Player works with playlist links. If you only have an Xtream Codes login, you can usually build an M3U link from it; see Xtream Codes to M3U. Some versions of the playlist manager also accept server, username and password directly.

Why doesn’t my new playlist appear?

Restart the app completely after saving the playlist. If it still doesn’t appear, check that the MAC address on the website matches the one the app shows now.

Can I have more than one playlist?

Yes, the playlist manager lets you add several and choose between them in the app.
