How they feel in use
- TiviMate is built around the remote and the grid guide: channels down the side, time across the top, quick zapping. It’s the closest thing to a traditional set-top box. See TiviMate and TiviMate Premium.
- Televizo is a general-purpose player that works the same on a phone and a TV. Chromecast lets you browse on your phone and play on the big screen. See Televizo.
Which to pick
- One TV, mostly live channels: TiviMate.
- Phones and tablets as well as the TV: Televizo, since TiviMate is TV-only.
- Only an Xtream Codes login: TiviMate takes it directly; for Televizo, see Xtream Codes to M3U.
