Check your TV is supported
Smart IPTV’s website lists Samsung Tizen 6.5 and later (2022+ models) for its current version. To check your TV’s year, look at the model number on the back label or in the TV’s support settings. For older models, see the best IPTV apps for Samsung TVs.
Install it
- Press Home, open Apps and search for Smart IPTV.
- Install and open it.
- Note the MAC address the app shows on screen.
Smart IPTV’s notes mention that one Samsung version (3.1.3) needed a fresh installation rather than an update from the previous version. If the app misbehaves after an update, reinstall it.
Upload your playlist
- On a phone or computer, go to siptv.app and open the playlist upload page.
- Enter the TV’s MAC address.
- Add your playlist as a link or a file, choose your guide options, and send it.
- Restart Smart IPTV on the TV.
The full steps, and what each option does, are in upload your playlist to Smart IPTV. If your provider gave you an Xtream Codes login, build the M3U link first with Xtream Codes to M3U.
Activate it
Smart IPTV charges a one-time activation fee per TV or device (5.49 EUR on its activation page when we checked), paid on siptv.app with the TV’s MAC address. No channels come with activation. See Smart IPTV activation.
Protect your playlist
Smart IPTV advises locking your MAC or ID in the app’s settings, so someone else can’t reset your playlist from the website.
Problems on Samsung
- “Check playlist URL” or “No playlist uploaded”: see Smart IPTV errors.
- Channels buffer or won’t play: see IPTV not working on Samsung TV.
