Stuck on “Loading portal”
The box can’t load your provider’s portal.
- Check the portal address in ServersPortals against your provider’s message, character by character, including
http://and the ending such as/c/. See MAG portal setup. - Check the network. Plug in an Ethernet cable if you can, and restart the router.
- Confirm the MAC address is registered with your provider.
- Restart the box by switching it off at the power for 30 seconds.
Authentication failed or “STB blocked”
The portal loaded but refused your box.
- MAC not registered, or registered wrongly. Send your provider the MAC from the box’s label again.
- Subscription ended or suspended. Check your account status.
- Box blocked by the provider. Only the provider can unblock it.
These messages come from the provider’s portal, so the exact wording varies between services.
Portal not found or server not responding
- The provider may have changed the portal address: ask for the current one.
- The portal server may be down: see server unavailable or not responding for how to tell.
- Your broadband provider may be unable to reach it: test your login on another device on mobile data.
Channels load but won’t play
- Try a few channels to see whether it’s one channel or all.
- Check the connection is stable; see how to stop IPTV buffering.
- If only some channels fail, the streams themselves are the problem; report them to your provider.
No TV guide or wrong times
- Set the correct time zone and a working time server (NTP) in the box’s settings. A wrong clock shifts the whole guide and breaks catch-up.
- If the guide is missing entirely, it’s supplied by the portal; ask your provider. See EPG not loading.
When all else fails
A factory reset returns the box to its original settings. It clears the portal and network settings too, so note them first. After resetting, set up the network, time zone and portal again.
